Angela Consani comes to the team with over a decade of experience in teaching, course design, assessment, and curriculum development at the K-12 and community college level as well as nearly a decade of experience in production, manufacturing, and operations.  As the former program coordinator/PI for the NSF-ATE-funded Kansas City Kansas Biomanufacturing Training Laboratory (KCKBTL), Mrs. Consani was responsible for teaching, curriculum, budgeting, and recruitment for a rapidly growing and effective biotech vocational technology effort in Wyandotte County, Kansas.  A unique partnership between KCK Public Schools And Kansas City Kansas Community College, the KCKBTL establishes pathways that lead from high schools through institutions of higher education and ultimately into professional careers in the life sciences.  Currently an assistant professor of microbiology at Johnson County Community College (JCCC), Mrs. Consani services the regional biotechnology community as a consultant to JCCC as they launch their new biotech program in both traditional academic and continuing education format.  Mrs. Consani serves as a board member for the SkilledKC Technical Institute and University of Kansas-Edwards Bioscience Workforce Education Board (BioWEB).
